Chad has been coaching for may years. he is an accomplished swimmer who is one of three people in Utah to swim the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming, Consisting of the English Channel, Catalina Channel and 20 Bridges swim around Manhattan. he got his start coaching at the high school level and has progressed through the ranks to ultimately starting Wasatch Water Dragons in the summer of 2022. he has always thought that swimming is a place for all to come and strives to make sure everyone has a place and feels like they belong.

Melissa has a lifelong love for the water and was a competitive swimmer for CHAT and Brighton High School, until an injury shifted her focus. She spent 10+ summers working at Camp Steiner, the highest-elevation scout camp in the U.S., where she served in various roles, including Aquatics Director. Her time there deepened her passion for teaching water safety, swimming, and outdoor skills.
When she’s not coaching, Melissa enjoys running, hiking, and camping—anything that gets her outdoors. She works as a mortgage broker, helping people achieve their dream of homeownership, and previously worked for JetBlue, fueling her love for travel. She’s excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the team!

Nate has been involved in swimming for about 5 years as a parent, timer and announcer. His inquisitive nature has helped him learn much about the sport of swimming and he does a great job of working on proper stroke techniques and turns. He work full time at UPS and has a wife and 2 daughters. he enjoys riding his motorcycle, fixing cars and eating his wife's awesome cooking. her Fish and chips is a crowd favorite as well as Nates!
